Maro is an early-stage startup operating in the B2C(Business to Consumer) space aiming to address the current youth mental health crisis through expert-focused parenting advice, behavioral tracking and community.
Initial Task
Design an intuitive mobile app that empowers parents to support their child's mental health by providing expert resources, behavior tracking tools, and access to pediatricians. The app should build trust with parents while meeting key business objectives.
Discovery
Our research revealed a pressing need for effective mental health support for children, with 1 in 5 facing a diagnosable mental illness and 80% not receiving adequate care. We found that parents rarely tracked their children's behavior beyond ages 3-4, and if they did, they often used basic tools like phone notes. However, collecting this tracking data was crucial for our client's business goals.
